Oregon Premier FC’s Competitive Program is designed for dedicated high school-aged players who are passionate about competitive soccer and committed to developing their skills in a challenging, high-performance environment. Our program provides a structured, year-round training curriculum that prioritizes technical excellence, tactical understanding, physical preparation, and mental resilience.

For players seeking a well-organized, team-oriented training experience, OPFC offers a pathway that bridges the gap between youth club soccer and higher levels of play, including collegiate and professional opportunities. With a focus on high-level coaching, top-tier competition, and holistic player development, we create an environment that fosters growth both on and off the pitch.

OPFC is committed to fostering individual player growth within a team-oriented framework. Each year, players undergo tryouts and evaluations conducted by our experienced coaching staff. Based on these assessments, players are placed onto teams within their respective age groups. Training sessions are designed to challenge players individually while emphasizing cohesive team dynamics and strategies.

Our Competitive Program is built on the foundation of:

  • Comprehensive Player Development: A balanced approach that refines individual skills while fostering collective team success.

  • High-Quality Coaching: Experienced, licensed coaches dedicated to nurturing talent and preparing players for the demands of the modern game.

  • Structured Seasonal Play: A carefully designed year-round schedule, including league play, tournaments, and state-level championships.

  • Commitment to Excellence: A culture that instills discipline, accountability, and a winning mentality in every player.

At OPFC, we believe that success is not solely measured by wins and losses, but by the long-term development of our athletes. We strive to provide an environment where players can maximize their potential, compete at the highest level, and develop lifelong skills that will serve them both in soccer and beyond.

COMPETITIONS

OYSA Local State League

Local Summer Tournaments

Teams will compete against other competitive soccer clubs in the Portland metro area and around the state. Our competitive teams train twice a week, participate in summer tournaments, play in the OYSA winter league,  and compete for a State Cup, Presidents Cup or Founders Cup championship in the spring.

Players are required to tryout and be evaluated by our staff coaches each year, where selected players will be placed onto teams within age group pools. Training sessions are created to push each player’s individual growth with the understanding that soccer is a team sport and the ultimate goal is to field successful teams that work together.
